SSCP Student Perspective Article: Promoting Mental Health for Clinical Psychology Graduate Students Historically Excluded From Institutions of Higher Education

For the Winter 2021 Issue of the Society for the Science of Clinical Psychology News Letter, I wrote a piece about how institutions and student’s can promote mental health for students historically excluded from institutions of higher education. My recommendations are based on research that suggests mental health can be bolstered by generating a sense of community, providing material resources, celebrating individual successes, eating well, moving your body, and cultivating meaning/joy from a wide range of interests.
